NEW STORE ALERT: LOMOGRAPHY GALLERY STORE!
Natasha Hong 13 Dec 2011 11:07 AM Tue

Film is not dead. In fact, it's very much alive. The resurrector of the medium? Perhaps Lomography. In case you've been living high up in a mountain, or under a blah rock for the past few years, they are the purveryor of forgotten cameras and their own brand of spunky funk plastic cameras that do things that'll make your photography-enthusiast dad or grandpa cry.
But down to the real news: Singapore's finally got its own Lomography Gallery Store, and boy are we stoked!
Located along South Bridge Road, just on the outside walls of Ann Siang Hill, our local store has the LomoWall, and of course, cameras, their accessories and film to feed your habit (believe us when we say this will leave your wallet crying). And if you bring film here for developing, there'll be no uncle moaning about how cross-processing your film will ruin his chemicals - just hip kids that'll insist on it!
Remember peeps, even if you've managed to procure your plastic fantastic thing through other means, you still have a reason to visit. The store will play host to regular activities and exhibitions of the celluloid persuasion, you'll just need to keep in touch via www.lomography.com/magazine/events.
Singapore's Lomography Gallery Store is located at 295 South Bridge Road #01-01.
