Constructed the same way the Native American Indians created their shoes, Minnetonka moccasins are made from suede, leather, cowhide, deerskin or moosehide from Scandinavia and America. The sides and soles of the shoes are hand-sewn and joined at the top with an additional flap, which allows the shoe to form around the wearer's feet.

The Thunderbird series, now available at Leftfoot, is finished with a beadwork image of a thunderbird, legendary for its power and strength. They come in seven colours and make good complements for a lazy-day outfit or Casual Fridays at the office.
