Dreaming of a white Christmas? These photographs of Moscow in winter will make you detest the fact we live in a tropical city.
Russian photographer Kristina Makeeva uses her images to showcase Moscow's fairy-like scenes in winter, and would like others to have a glimpse of how gorgeous the city looks once snow starts to fall. Although Moscow is cold all year round, she feels it’s exceptionally beautiful during the winter months.
“In our city there are a lot of lights that are often lit up all night, so those nights in Moscow, when it is snowing, the atmosphere is getting on really fabulous.”
