Check it out, this tickled us a little this dreary Monday: Local designer Ashburn Eng from Young & Restless has come up with a new hat that a junkie of Channel 8 period serials will recognise. Pugalistic hats! They're like the hats that used to conceal a femme fatale or an assassin in disguise, except Y&R's version keeps fashion warriors stylishly shaded.

The Flying Saucer Hats, so they are named, were created for a fashion showcase, and they look just about prepared to whisk its wearer away into a high fashion state.
