FIRST LOOK: ZADIG & VOLTAIRE'S SPRING/SUMMER 2012 COLLECTION

Inspired by nautical naughtymen and the culture of rock, Zadig & Voltaire's Spring/Summer 2012 collection does a lovely play on androgyny and mixes it up with visual elements associated with the two inspirations. Think stand-up collars, tailored jackets, flowy blouses and pieces with frog-fastenings and shoulder flaps.

The aesthetic in some pieces also carry a DIY vibe - thigh high denim shorts feature frayed edges, and jersey knits are overdyed and lightened. Girl pieces take on boyfriend proportions, and bright, bold metallics are made wearable for guys and girls alike.
