When we think of pastel-hued photographs, we immediately think of Nguan, the mysterious Singaporean photographer who manages to capture the softer side of city life.
However, he may have met his match with Marietta Varga, a Hungarian photographer who captures the suburbs of her hometown in an incredibly dreamy way. Think perfect pastel buildings all lined up, wispy branches of trees in winter, a lone stranger walking his dog, and empty playgrounds, all finished with a foggy filter that both intrigues and relaxes.
Commenting on the series of photographs, Marietta shares, "this was the first time in a long time that I was able to see my hometown precisely as it exists in my mind."
